Love or Death? A simple question really. The choice seems obvious. But. What if you never knew love, what if your life was spent just trying to survive? What if you knew your fate before you were fully grown?
And then you died.
And you were given another chance. A better chance.
This new life depended upon one thing: your job. And so you agreed. You thought it would be simple. You thought it would be cut and dry.
It never is.
And now you are left holding the fate of someone else in the palm of your hand and you have to make the ultimate choice.
Love or Death?

My Review:
Going into this book I went in with a clear mind. This book had a great summary and I've read a few book about life after death which i liked so i was pumped to read this. I have to say that this book was new and addictive. With that explosive beginning I was hooked!
What I really liked about the book were the characters and the story. I mean you died but then your given a second chance because you gave someone else a second chance. Confusing? a bit but a pretty cool concept. I LOVED that this book was done in dual POV's. Every other chapter we were immersed into Dex and Piper's lives and thoughts. I really liked the realism of Dex, he didn't shy from what he wanted or though. Piper was more a normal girl and i liked that she was very thoughtful :)
I loved the idea of death escorts, it was a new thing for me and kinda creepy at the beginning because Dex is one but at the same time it was creepy. Well, the part where he get's a new body and all the bodies coming out like shirts in a cleaner....that was creepy cool O_O just saying. But he also get's a lot of perks from the job and is living the life he never had.
The story wasn't inta-love but there was a strong attraction between them and was a depth to it, I mean he saved your life. Even thought he had a different name and body Piper still recognized him. Another pretty awesome thing was that at the start of each chapter there would be a word and it's definition. They were kind of like hints as to what was going to happen in the book.
Overall, this was a great read! I liked the story, the world, the characters, and really got hooked into the book. 4/5 STARS!
Pretty GREAT! It blew me away at times and kept me engaged! :D
