Publication Date: July 1st 2013
Published by: K.B. Ritchie
Pages: 324
Organized by: YA Bound Book Tours
Summary from Goodreads (here):
No one would suspect shy Lily Calloway’s biggest secret. While everyone is dancing at college bars, Lily stays in the bathroom. To get laid. Her compulsion leads her to one-night stands, steamy hookups and events she shamefully regrets. The only person who knows her secret happens to have one of his own.
Loren Hale’s best friend is his bottle of bourbon. Lily comes at a close second. For three years, they’ve pretended to be in a real relationship, hiding their addictions from their families. They’ve mastered the art of concealing flasks and random guys that filter in and out of their apartment.
But when they go on a family boat trip, surrounded by open seas and limited male bodies in sight, Lily’s confronted with a big fear. Only one guy onboard can fill her addiction, and she’s sworn off going there with Loren Hale ever again. Now the only person who can truly help her can barely help himself.
**This is a New Adult book recommended for readers 18 and up**

OMG! WOW, that was an emotion churning,INTENSE, heartbreaking, REAL look at addiction. I thought i was going to feel uncomfortable with Lily's addiction to sex but you know what I wasn't, not even a little. Why because it was SO real. I felt SO bad and confused because what WOULD happen if you didn't know your limits. As for Loren, GAHHHHHHH! I was literally like EMOTIONS! STOP IT. I FELT...THERE ARE NO WORDS. THIS WHOLE BOOK WAS JUST AMAZING I think i'm addicted to ADDICTED TO YOU O.O [ME BELOW AFTER FINISHING. WHY? CONTINUE READING ;)]
I was so screwed going into this. From the summary I expected a long story about 2 sick people on a boat on vacation dealing with there problems. i thought it was going to be they FINALLY realize they loved each other and their problems go away...BUT NO! It was a good thing too because if it had, it would have felt like any other NA *sorry* and that it didn't happen was good. We start with these 2 college bound kids from rich families, whom have been living a lie and helped feed their addictions. I LOVED that we saw they're bad, they're good, and the uncomfortable. And yes there is a lot of sex *not explicit* but it was part of the story and addictions aren't pretty.
Lily and Loren. SO MANY ISSUES. They were so thoroughly into their lives and addictions that they couldn't see they were each hurting the other. They have a bond so strong that they'll support each other through hell if they had to. I think that throughout the book Lily's the first to wake to her stark reality and see's the flaws between them. Loren on the other hand is more stubborn, and NO i didn't hate him, i actually liked him, fault and all. After the trip to the bahamas and Lil & Lo's relationship is "REAL" and not pretend, nothing changes. As Lil say's "I thought Love would trample out our addictions but it hasn't" and that is REAL.
On top of that Lil & Lo come from wealthy families and with that come problems. Lo's OH BOY HE NEED A HUG! I couldn't hold in my emotions with him because in the end he has SUCH A SHOCKING revelation that even I HAD TO GASP AND KINDA YELL AT MY KINDLE! Lil being a sex addict NEEDS the high and it hurts her family. It distances her from them.
Which brings me to her sisters and the second characters that I LOVED to pieces. Rose is Lily's oldest sister and the closest to her. She's the one that ultimately helps Lily. Then there was Conner, whom was such an enigma and such a great guy, funny too. He breaks Lily's walls first then Lorens and he becomes they're first friend. He also has a thing for Rose and that goes into the crazy mix ;) Then there is Ryke. he seems like the superhero and all and i thought he was just a hard ass who had an alcoholic father that reminded him of Loren and wanted to help. But nope. He's got his motives and helps both Lil & Lo in the end.
The ending. AH! the end...the was SO SHOCKING yet i kinda had the feeling already. BUT GAH the ENDING. I...I...I...CAN'T PUT IT INTO WORDS. My heart was BREAKING with them because I understood THEM. They could not just SEPARATE. After something like THAT HAPPENS.. I WAS LIKE NO. I CAN'T END LIKE THAT. I NEED MORE.
Before I finish this i MUST WARN YOU. THE EMOTIONS are SO real, raw, and tumble some. I would feel the love them I would feel the PAIN. Then AH the emotions come pouring! I CRIED, I THOUGHT, I literally SHOUTED once and STILL I LOVED THE EMOTIONS. So when the novel ended I couldn't contain myself and cried. PREPARE TO FEEL!
OVERALL: I think this whole book worked because of the way it was written and how everything wasn't rushed to have a perfect fast fix. It was slow and delicate. The characters weren't perfect and it made them more human. They had REAL addictions, it wasn't sugarcoated. I LOVED THIS BOOK x INFINITY. U HAVE to read it to understand EVERYTHING and the emotions that come with it. I SO NEED THE NEXT ONE NOW. That ending left me wanting and I seriously need to see where Lil & Lo's journey goes. BEST NEW ADULT SUMMER READ. It will addict you and leave you wanting for MORE! I would recommend it to NA lovers, readers who love tortured and real romances, and books that deal with addictions.
